About us
Learn what inspired us to tell the story of Palermo and who are the organizations behind the documentary.

Change is possible
Social changes are painful and complicated, they require will and persistence; it could seems like it's aiming for an utopia, an unreachable situation for any community.
However, Palermo tells a different story, where despite tragedy and barriers such as fear, apathy and uncertainty, change is possible. Stories as painful as this must be told, and No Mafia aims to make this story of hope visible, in order to learn from its mistakes and successes.
Palermo could be any other city, at any time in history, on any continent. Palermo is everyone of us who have lived through violence, corruption, insecurity, and who are ready to act and change what we have been told is impossible: our own history.
